Joey Draw Studios is keeping Bendy and the Ink Machine rolling with another new title in Bendy: Lone Wolf. Launching in 2025 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, the Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam and mobile, Lone Wolf will have players testing their ability to survive against ever-increasing odds as Boris the wolf.
Details on the story for Bendy: Lone Wolf are still forthcoming, but the game is purportedly a rebrand title of Boris and the Dark Survival, which was available on Steam back in 2020. This new game sees Boris, the cartoon companion of Bendy, delve further into the abandoned Joey Drew Studios and beyond in search of supplies, weapons, and the dark truths that await him.
It won’t be easy for Boris, as he’ll have to deal with the cartoon creeps of the Dark Puddles. You must battle them back with well-timed attacks and the clever use of traps, smashing them back into the shadows before they drag Boris away.
The Dark Puddles aren’t the only thing that Boris will need to deal with in his quest. The Ink Demon stalks Boris at every turn, leaving no safe place from his reach. When you hear the beating of his ink heart, Boris will need to run and hide to avoid the Ink Demon’s wrath.
A new game isn’t the only thing on Joey Draw Studios’ agenda. A film adaptation is also in the works, with André Øvredal (The Last Voyage of the Demeter, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) directing.
