Co-op Sci-Fi Horror Game ‘Niktophobia’ Out Now on Steam
It took longer than expected, but developer OldYacht has finally announced the release of Niktophobia, their sci-fi co-op horror game about securing alien eggs, which is now available on PC via Steam. To celebrate the launch of Niktophobia, you can grab the game with a 15% limited-time discount until April 3.
In Niktophobia, you are part of the biological threat prevention team. Your mission is to gather, isolate and deliver unknown substances for further analysis. For this mission, your team is about to be sent to a chemical research and development facility located on a space station. However, the facility recently had multiple power core failures, then suddenly ceased its communications.
As a result, you and your team will now have to complete their mission while contending with the random periods of darkness on the space station. There’s still power on the station, but you’ll have to choose which part of the station will be powered (thereby granting you lit conditions), or resort to using personal equipment to light your way.
However, lurking in the station is an alien presence that hunts mostly by sound, meaning that every footstep and breath you take, there’s a potential for it turning its attention towards you.
Moon Studios dropped a new trailer during the Sony State of Play for their dark action-RPG No Rest for the Wicked, while also hinting at the long-awaited launch window for the full 1.0 release. The game, which has been in Early Access on Steam since April 2024, will be launching this October in full for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, while versions for the Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 will arrive at a later date.
As a token of appreciation for supporters new and old, Moon Studios is offering an exclusive Early Access Founder’s Pack, a free limited edition bundle available for anyone who purchases the game on Steam prior to July 10, with rewards unlocking when 1.0 officially launches. PlayStation 5 users can receive the Early Access Founder’s Pack by pre-ordering the game once available, any time before launch day.
The Founder’s Pack includes:

In No Rest for the Wicked, players take on the role of a “Cerim,” a member of a holy order imbued with mysterious powers, tasked with destroying the Pestilence, an ancient plague that has begun to consume the island Isola Sacra, itself already the site of great political upheaval and death.
