Remedy Unveils “Take Control” Trailer, Mini Doc for ‘Control Resonant’ [Watch]
Remedy wasn’t done with revealing more of the upcoming Control Resonant. After dropping a new story trailer during Summer Game Fest last Friday, the developer has released a new trailer that offers another glimpse into the game’s take on Manhattan, as well as a mini-documentary offering a behind-the-scenes look at the game’s development.
The new trailer offers another glimpse into the game’s paranaturally transformed Manhattan, highlighting several of the city’s diverse locations, fast-paced combat, supernatural abilities, and encounters with the otherworldly threats reshaping reality.
Meanwhile, the Control Resonant mini-documentary features Creative Director Mikael Kasurinen, Art Director Elmeri Raitanen, and Lead Level Designer Anne-Marie Grönroos as they look at the paranaturally transformed Manhattan, discussing how the game expands beyond the confines of the Oldest House, introduces gravity-defying traversal and exploration, and combines melee combat, supernatural abilities, and reactive environments to create a dynamic action-RPG sandbox.
Control Resonant arrives September 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Pre-orders are now open, with players getting the Pickpocket’s Tool Artifact and Hiss Corruption Outfit for Dylan as part of pre-ordering before launch.
