‘Terminator 2D: NO FATE’ Delayed Again to November 26

Published

Unfortunately for Terminator fans, Bitmap Bureau’s throwback side-scrolling action title Terminator 2D: NO FATE has hit another delay. Originally set to arrive just in time for Halloween, the game has been pushed back to November 26. This comes after the game was delayed from its original September 5 release.

According to publisher Reef Entertainment, the decision to delay the release is due to ongoing global trade and tariff changes that have delayed shipment of the components for the game’s Day One and Collector’s Editions. “Because we are committed to launching all editions together, this new date applies to both physical and digital releases worldwide.”

Described as a love letter to 80s/90s arcade games, in Terminator 2D: NO FATE, the story blends iconic scenes from Terminator 2: Judgment Day with original scenarios and multiple endings. You play as Sarah Connor and the T-800 through a variety of missions as you take on the T-1000 and try to put a stop to Skynet’s plans before the human race is annihilated. Players will also lead the Resistance as John Connor in the future, fighting on the front lines as mankind’s only hope in the war against the machines.

Terminator 2D: NO FATE brings the legendary action film movie to life with arcade gameplay and glorious pixel artwork associated with Bitmap Bureau. The team even put together a behind-the-scenes look at how they tackled the challenge of translating one the film into a complete arcade experience, capturing its memorable scenes and iconic moments.

The game is currently slated to arrive for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch.
