Horror icons are taking over the world of Call of Duty this Halloween with special event The Haunting, and the official trailer promises a true bloodbath beginning on October 9.

Call of Duty‘s annual Halloween event, The Haunting has previously featured icons including Ghostface, Michael Myers, Art the Clown, Leatherface, and Sam from Trick ‘r Treat.
The inclusion of Jason Voorhees in this year’s event is thanks to the newly launched Jason Universe, with that team promising a new Friday the 13th video game is also in the works.

The team previews, “The Haunting returns with a vengeance in Season 06, bringing new Halloween-themed map variants and chilling LTMs across all three modes. Fight as and against iconic slashers and zombies and unlock a hearty helping of spooky rewards scattered throughout in-game events and the new seasonal Battle Pass. Season 06 launches October 9 at 9AM PT.
