Demo of ‘Vampire Survivors’ Spin-off ‘Vampire Crawlers’ Coming Next Month [Video]
Poncle is continuing to build upon the success of Vampire Survivors with the spin-off card battler game Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard. And you’ll be able to get in on the fun next month during Steam Next Fest with the first demo for Vampire Crawlers, which will arrive February 23 on Steam.
And if you can’t wait, Poncle aims to satiate fans with the kick-off episode of their new video series, “Let’s Explore Vampire Crawlers”, which is out today. This new bite-sized gameplay series reveals even more about the features and gameplay of Vampire Crawlers, with more to be released in the coming weeks.
In the first video, the devteam dives into the two key mechanics central to the experience:
- The Turboturn™ – Turn-based combat without the wait. In Vampire Crawlers, you don’t have to pause for animations to complete before triggering your next move. The game intelligently stacks and executes your ability inputs with precision, allowing you to play at your own chaotic pace. It turns tactical combat into a fast, engaging, and visually rewarding experience.
- Card Customisation – Discover endless ways to play your cards. Gems allow you to customize your cards with a variety of effects, ranging from raw damage multipliers to full Weapon Evolutions. Whether you want a simple power boost or deep strategic planning, Gems give every player the tools to create game-breaking combos.
Coming to Steam as well as the Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, Vampire Crawlers is a turboturn deckbuilder that turns the snowballing thrill of Vampire Survivors into a turn‑based, card‑driven battler with rogue-lite elements. Players construct busted decks, explore familiar dungeons from a new perspective, and unleash world‑ending combos.

Bloober Team’s ‘Cronos: Lazarus’ Leaked Prior to Official Reveal
Bloober Team appears to have something in the works related to Cronos: The New Dawn. At least, that would appear to be the case, thanks to an accidental reveal ahead of this weekend’s IGN Live event as part of Summer Game Fest.
In the list of title reveals during the event, something referred to as “Cronos: Lazarus” appeared in the list, but was quickly scrubbed. However, not before the internet picked up on it. Adding more fuel to the reveal were two screenshots posted to X by insider Intercelluar, which appear to show the official art. It’s not clear yet, but this is more than likely a new DLC for Cronos: The New Dawn, given that Bloober Team is already busy with multiple other titles, including the Silent Hill remake, and the recently-announced Layers of Fear 3.
If you haven’t checked out Cronos: The New Dawn (and you never read Aaron’s review of the game), the game is set in the haunting ruins of New Dawn, a world inspired by Nowa Huta, a real historical district in Kraków, Poland. Cronos: The New Dawn unfolds across two timelines: a post-apocalyptic future decaying in despair, and the gritty, industrial 1980s reality. This powerful duality blends retro realism, dystopian sci-fi, and a retro-futuristic atmosphere to create a deeply immersive world filled with tension, mystery, and terror.
Players step into the hunting suit of The Traveler — an enigmatic agent of the Collective, sent into zones scarred by the Change, a cataclysmic event that shattered time, memory, and flesh. What remains is a world suspended between past and future — haunted, hostile, and unravelling. Survival is anything but certain.
