After teasing players recently over the “brand-new title” in the Silent Hill series in Silent Hill: Townfall, it appears that we’ll finally get more details on the project since No Code Games and Annapurna Interactive first announced the game back in 2022. Konami has announced a new Silent Hill Transmission event, scheduled for February 12 at 4pm PT.
Other than updating fans on the latest news for Silent Hill: Townfall, details on what exactly the stream will include were not revealed. One would hope that we get a release date for Townfall during the event. As mentioned last December, in an interview with 4Gamer, series producer Motoi Okamoto stated that Konami is looking to release a new entry in the Silent Hill series of about one title per year.
Last year (in case you missed it), we received Silent Hill f, which did pretty darn well for itself in terms of sales and accolades.
And needless to say, fans are obviously wanting to hear more about Bloober Team’s currently-in-development remake of the original Silent Hill. However, seeing as Bloober Team have other plans later this week, that news might be put off for another time.
