Temporal Diver Mode Now Available for ‘Cronos: The New Dawn’ [Trailer]

Published

on

Besides revealing Layers of Fear 3, Bloober Team had the time to drop a new update for Cronos: The New Dawn that introduces the Temporal Diver mode. Essentially the game’s easy mode, the update is “designed for players who want to discover the mysteries of the game’s intricate time travel story and experience its survival horror mechanics with less demanding combat.”

As a result of the addition, the difficulty modes for Cronos have undergone a name change. “Anvil of the Collective” is standard difficulty, while the Forged in Fire mode, which unlocks after completing Anvil of the Collective difficulty, is the game’s hard mode.

“Mildly” different from the existing game mode, the story with its all elements remains the same in Temporal Diver mode, with main changes happening to enemy and Traveler health. In the Temporal Diver mode, enemy health will be halved while the Traveler’s health will be doubled. This will provide plenty of opportunities for a little smoother progression for those whose gameplay style is more story-orientated rather than diehard action.

That’s not to say this mode is a cakewalk, as the fast-paced action and all the elements of the game remain in place, only the health will be adjusted in this mode.

That’s not all players are getting, as Bloober is joining in the celebration of the Lunar New Year with a free brand-new skin: the Iron Rider Traveler with its flaming horse-inspired design. Still not enough? For those who haven’t taken the plunge, you can grab Cronos: The New Dawn on all platforms with a 30% discount from now until February 26th.

In addition to Steam and the Epic Games Store, Cronos: The New Dawn is also available on the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series,  and the Nintendo Switch 2.

Horror Action-Adventure Title ‘EONA’ Appearing at Gamescom 2026; New Gameplay Trailer Released [Watch]

Published

on

With gamescom 2026 right around the corner, developer/publisher SUPER AC has revealed that their upcoming horror adventure game EONA will be making an appearance at the show, which takes place from August 26-30. In addition, the team has revealed a new gameplay trailer, as well as announcing that the game will launch “just a few weeks” after gamescom.

Those attending gamescom will be able to play the final version of EONA at the SUPER AC booth, located in Hall 10.1, Booth A043. If you’re not able to attend, you can always check out the demo for the game on Steam.

EONA centres around the eponymous girl, who after a failed spell, has her soul split into two, with one half residing in a mysterious puppet. Eona must enter the castle of the evil fairy Mélusine and recover an artifact that is the only hope of saving her mother. But the path through the castle comes at a cost. To achieve her goal, Eona must uncover the castle’s secrets… and ultimately confront Mélusine herself.

Eona wields the Puppeteer’s Cross, a stolen artifact that allows her to manipulate the souls of the castle’s servants. By altering their behavior, redirecting their patrol routes, and disrupting the castle’s order, she can turn its own inhabitants against it. She can also swap between her human body and her puppet form, with each form granting unique abilities that are essential for delving deeper into the castle, reaching inaccessible areas, and uncovering its hidden secrets.

Blending stealth, exploration, puzzle-solving and soul manipulation, you’ll use Eona’s supernatural abilities to overcome obstacles—but never lose sight of your own body, which is completely vulnerable when using her puppet form.

In addition to Steam, EONA will also be launching on the Epic Games Store.
