Previously released on Steam back in 2024, CreepyToad’s Granny: Escape Together is making the leap to consoles, courtesy of Axyos Games and Human Qube. Coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One, while no exact release date has been set as of yet, you can wishlist the game now.
For those not in the know, Granny: Escape Together is a co-op horror title that blends stealth, exploration, and puzzle-solving. On a dark evening walk through a sinister forest, you witness a strange ritual – an old woman dancing in the shadows. Before you can react, a sudden blow sends you into darkness. When you wake up, you find yourself trapped inside Granny’s house, with only five days to escape. Inside, every creaking floorboard and distant sound could mean danger. Players must explore the house, solve intricate puzzles, and uncover the dark secrets of this cursed place while avoiding Granny, who is always closer than she seems.
You and your friends must work together to divide tasks, and coordinate strategies to improve your chances of survival. To avoid Granny, you’ll need to hide under beds, inside closets, and in the shadows. You’ll need to be careful, as Granny reacts to every noise that you make.
Aside from avoiding Granny, you’ll need to navigate the house and find your way out. You can choose to make your way to the Garage to repair the old car, find a way to unlock the front door, or unlock the secret underground passage in the basement.
Or, if you prefer, you can play as Granny herself, setting traps for other players and patrol the rooms of the house to hunt down escaping players. If it’s all too much, there’s always the game’s Practice mode, where you can explore the house without danger to learn mechanics and plan strategies before facing the real challenge.
