After Resident Evil Requiem broke the 5 million mark in sales last week, Konami’s Silent Hill 2 remake has now done the same. As of January 31, 2026 (per Konami’s internal tracking), the Bloober Team developed remake has surpassed five million units sold worldwide across digital and physical sales, store downloads and subscription services across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
To celebrate Konami has announced the start of its Spring Sale, offering discounts on select titles from the series on the PlayStation Store. That includes:
- Silent Hill f Deluxe Edition – 50% off
- Silent Hill 2 Deluxe Edition – 50% off
- Silent Hill 2 & Silent Hill f Dual Pack
- Standard Edition – 40% off
- Deluxe Edition – 40% off
Xbox owners aren’t being left out (since the game just launched on the console back in November). Konami has announced that the Silent Hill 2 & Silent Hill f Dual Pack is now available on Xbox Series.
It remains to be seen how many copies of Silent Hill f have been sold since that game launched to great success back in September. Regardless, all of this only bodes well for the next entry in the series in Screen Burn and Annapurna Interactive’s Silent Hill Townfall, which is due out later this year for PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
In addition to the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series, Silent Hill 2 is also available on on PC via Steam.
