Previously revealed as Summer Camp last year, developer Silent Lamb Studio has given their project a facelift with the official reveal of Last Summer. Slated for a release on Steam, Last Summer takes the familiar premise of camp counsellors having to deal with a hulking killer stalking them at Silent Lamb Camp.
What begins as a carefree getaway quickly descends into terror. A group of friends arrives at Silent Lamb Camp ahead of the summer season, filling their nights with laughs, beer, and ghost stories around the campfire. But when the tale of a masked killer, said to arrive on a ghostly train and leave nothing but blood and silence behind, turns out to be more than just a story, it soon turns into a desperate fight to survive.
Similar to what players got up to in F13: The Game, Last Summer has players either step into the role of a relentless killer, or fight for survival as part of a group of campers, who need to rely on teamwork, instinct, and fear.
As the killer, your objective is simple: stalk, isolate, and eliminate every last victim. As a camper, survival depends on teamwork, quick thinking, and making the most of every opportunity to escape. With multiple escape routes, dynamic encounters, and constant tension, no two matches play out the same.
Each survivor will have set stats that directly impact gameplay and create meaningful variation between matches, and players can cosmetically customise their survivors’ skins using the character tool. Campers can equip items, fight back, and coordinate their escape, while killers can unleash visceral execution moves and strike fear into their prey.
