Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer The Coalition announced during the Xbox Games Showcase today that the Gears of War franchise will finally returns on October 6 in Gears of War: E-Day. The game will be an Xbox Series and Steam exclusive, despite a PlayStation 5 version recently being rated by PEGI.
Pre-ordering the game allows players early access to the open beta, which is set to start on August 6, as well as grant players the Exfil Dom Character Skin and the Exfil Weapon Skin Set in-game at launch.
Fourteen years before the original Gears of War, join Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago in a gripping origin-story campaign as the Locust Horde first erupt from beneath the earth, igniting a desperate fight for survival.
