Juliet Starling is back in a new Lollipop Chainsaw video game, and we’ve learned this week that the upcoming sequel game now has an official title: Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back.
IGN details the upcoming Dragami Games release this afternoon, “Set to launch on PlayStation 5 at some point in 2027, this long-awaited sequel features more fast-paced undead slicing, and even more of its plucky heroine Juliet, who appears to be wearing an even shorter skirt.”
Here’s the official synopsis: “The pop and cute high school zombie hunter who took the world by storm is back! Juliet returns, in a brand-new outfit and with even more power, to a rebuilt San Romero, now transformed into ‘Jaredwood,’ a sprawling metropolis built around the film industry.
“When a mysterious director traps her inside his twisted zombie movie, Juliet must fight alongside her allies, uncover the conspiracy behind the chaos, and stop a new threat posed by the Corrupted Realm zombies.”
Lollipop Chainsaw was originally released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2012. Dragami Games then released the remaster, Lollipop Chainsaw: RePOP, back in 2024.
Of particular note, James Gunn (Superman) co-wrote the original game.
