The fight for humanity has spilled over into The Fog, as Square Enix’s NieR: Automata has made its way into Dead by Daylight as part of a new Collection of outfits. The NieR: Automata Collection features 2B and A2 as Legendary Outfits for Feng Mig and Yui Kimura respectively, transforming the fan-favorite Survivors into YoRHa’s battle-hardened androids as they prepare to face their new struggle. On the Killer side, The Legion gets a Very Rare Outfit inspired by Emil, bringing his unique appearance – and unsettling grin – into the Trials.
“I think NieR: Automata is a game that leaves its mark on anyone who plays it, and we’re thrilled to welcome it into the world of Dead by Daylight,” says Dead by Daylight Creative Director Dave Richard. “Beyond the amazing characters and incredible visuals, there’s a definite connection between the themes of our two universes, both dealing with cycles of violence and suffering. Bringing 2B, A2, and Emil into The Fog gave us a chance to help celebrate what makes NieR: Automata so special to us.”
The NieR: Automata Collection is only the start of Dead by Daylight‘s Halloween celebration. Behaviour Interactive has teased fresh content every week. That includes the game’s annual Haunted by Daylight event, which kicks off October 13 and runs for three weeks.
