Just in case you missed it, Winnie-the-Pooh is celebrating 100 years since it was first published this month. And in celebration, developer/publisher Ignis Sanat has dropped a demo for their upcoming psychological horror game featuring the iconic bear in WINNIE-THE-POOH: Honey Distortion.
Launching on Steam next year, the game is a mystery visual novel with point-and-click mechanic, inspired by A. A. Milne‘s stories. Players take on the role of Christopher Robin as you explore the Hundred Acre Wood, the city and your own home. Along the way, you’ll unravel secrets and make decisions that can change the course of events. Your decisions will lead to one of several endings.
You’ll also be meeting up with characters from Milne’s stories, albeit reinterpretated from what you’d expect. Such as Piglet now being an anime girl with a gun.
Meanwhile, we await more info on the next entry in the Blood and Honey series, with the Scott Chambers-directed Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 3, which is currently filming.
