Gross First ‘Cabin Fever: Patient Zero’ Clip
In addition to our massive batch of exclusive stills, we now have the first gory clip from Cabin Fever: Patient Zero, which will be hitting VOD platforms June 26 and limited theaters August 1 through RLJ/Image Entertainment. The clip is a gruesome girl fight that begins after one of the girls says she needs to take the other to a hospital.
Directed by Altitude‘s Kaare Andrews, and starring Sean Astin, Currie Graham and Ryan Donowho, the sequel was penned by genre writer Jake Wade Wall (The Hitcher, Amusement, When a Stranger Calls).
In it, “A group of friends planned the perfect vacation in the Caribbean, but when they head ashore to explore a remote island, their ultimate bachelor weekend devolves into their worst nightmare. After an ill-fated swim in contaminated water, they stumble upon a seemingly abandoned research facility where a deadly, flesh-eating virus has been unleashed.“
Over one month later, Scary Movie is still playing in theaters and still making money, with the franchise’s brand new installment slashing into $224.5 million at the worldwide box office.
In fact, the Scary Movie franchise has now collectively passed $1 billion in theaters!
Scary Movie is headed to Digital at home soon, and a listing on Amazon this week indicates that the film will be making its way to Blu-ray and DVD this coming September.
The film is listed for DVD and Blu-ray release on September 22, 2026.

Scary Movie will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t. A whole lot has changed in the horror genre since the Wayans Brothers were in charge of the franchise; their involvement ended with Scary Movie 2 back in 2001!
