‘Jurassic World’ Trailer Asks That You Stay Calm

Jurassic World

Universal has opened the park to Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World, their Jurassic Park sequel in theaters June 12th.

In this new extended TV Spot, there’s new information and footage that suggests the dinosaurs are so smart they even kidnap people. A lot of what’s shown is really, really cool, but I still can’t help but be worried.

Twenty-two years after the events of ‘Jurassic Park’ (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.

Wizards of the Coast won’t be the only ones enjoying horror crossovers with its trading card game. Spin Master, Ghost Galaxy and Universal Products & Experiences have announced a collaboration with the Jason Universe, which will see Friday the 13th‘s Jason Voorhees become the latest monster to join Hellbreak, the horror trading card game series that’s set to launch later this fall.

The addition of Jason marks another major horror franchise joining Hellbreak‘s expanding universe, which already includes several Universal Monsters properties such as Dracula and The Bride of Frankenstein, as well as A Quiet Place, Jaws and more.

“From the start, Hellbreak was built to bring together the icons that define the genre, and it simply wouldn’t feel complete without Jason,” said Doug Wadleigh, Spin Master’s President of Toys. “His addition to the first set marks a major milestone for the game and for fans who have been waiting to see these legends collide.”

“Unleashing Jason to battle horror legends in fast and bloody tabletop fights is a first-of-its-kind moment for the franchise,” said Horror, Inc. Executive Vice President Robbie Barsamian. “Hellbreak lets fans choose from Friday the 13: The Game and Jason Universe favorites to go head-to-head with opponents.”

Developed in collaboration with Ghost Galaxy,  Hellbreak is a horror trading card game where the gameplay revolves around the idea of a “Monster Sandbox,” an arena in which fan-favorite characters from horror history fight to the bitter end.
