While there are many people who didn’t find Ghostbusters 2 to be as good a film as the first one, I still enjoyed the hell out of it. It continued that strange humor but had a much darker overall feel, one that left me feeling a little dirty and unpleasant afterwards. And one of the things about the sequel that stood out for me the most was Norbert Grupe’s performance as Vigo the Carpathian, the ghost that haunts his own portrait.
While Grupe appeared in other films that many of us have seen, such as Die Hard and In the Mouth of Madness, it’s his personal life and his overall attitude towards people in general that is the subject of a mini-documentary from YouTube channel No Small Parts.
