The only horror film to ever win Best Picture gets a stunning new restoration.
The late Jonathan Demme’s The Silence of the Lambs, starring Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins, returns to UK cinemas as part of the UK-wide BFI Thriller season.
What’s so special about the re-release? Well, what will be screened is a brand new 4K restoration of the 1991 masterpiece, with showings beginning November 2.
Along with a list of dates and locations comes an intense new trailer, teasing the restoration and giving new life to a classic film.
