Gary J. Tunnicliffe‘s Hellraiser: Judgment, which arrives on Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand February 13, 2018, wastes no time getting into the suffering.
Bloody Disgusting has an exclusive look at the opening scene in which Paul T. Taylor makes his debut as the new Pinhead. Lemarchand’s puzzle box also appears as Pinhead speaks to the evolution of misery with the Auditor. “Technology may have advanced, but sin remains unchanged,” says Pinhead before the Auditor chimes in, “Mankind has become a vacuum without morality.”
“[The clip] goes a little way to explain some of the new mythology and mechanisms, and you finally get to see and hear our new Pinhead in action,” Tunnicliffe, who also played the Auditor, said about the following sequence. “We would love to be able to show more images and clips, but finding something that isn’t too blood-drenched, violent, creepy, or contains nudity is proving tricky!”
The tenth film in the classic horror series tells the story of three detectives as they struggle to solve a horrifying murder, but instead find themselves thrust into the depths of Pinhead’s hellacious landscape.
“Three detectives trying to stop a diabolical serial killer are sucked into a maze of otherworldly horror, where hellish denizens including the Auditor, the Assessor, and the Jury await to pass judgment.”
Including a cameo by horror icon Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Hellraiser: Judgment stars Damon Carney, Randy Wayne, Alexandra Harris, John Gulager, Mike Jay Regan, Diane Goldner, Andi Powers, Jeff Fenter, Helena Grace Donald, and Grace Montie (read about their roles).
