Netflix didn’t provide us with our first look at the third season of “Stranger Things” during the Super Bowl last night, and the reason for that is simple: it hasn’t started filming yet! But “Saturday Night Live” picked up the slack with a sketch this past Saturday night, spoofing the most talked about episode of last year’s Season 2.
In “The Lost Sister,” Eleven found a handful of kindred spirits on the mean streets of Chicago, each with their own unique powers. In the “SNL” spoof of the episode, Natalie Portman plays Eleven, and her new friends, well, they have some interesting powers.
The casting of Portman as Eleven is the real gift of the sketch, as many have recently noted that Portman and “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown may be doppelgangers!
