This place wants them dead.

AMC just released a new promo for Ridley Scott’s “The Terror”, which will premiere on March 26, 2018. In it, the camera pulls back — err, down as we can hear screams of terror (pun intended) from above.

Starring Jared Harris (“The Crown”) and Tobias Menzies (“Outlander”), “The Terror” is set in 1847, when a Royal Naval expedition crew searching for the Northwest Passage is attacked by a mysterious predator that stalks the ships and their crew in a suspenseful and desperate game of survival. It’s based on a true story, which means that, yes, a crew once went on a search for the Northwest Passage.

The rest of the cast includes Ciarán Hinds (Justice League) as Sir John Franklin; Paul Ready (Cuffs) as Dr. Henry Goodsir; Adam Nagaitis (Suffragette) as Cornelius Hickey Nive Nielsen (The New World) as Lady Silence; Ian Hart (Neverland) as Thomas Blanky; and Trystan Gravelle (Mr. Selfridge) as Henry Collins.

The 10-episodes series, which is based on Dan Simmons’ novel, is also executive produced by David W. Zuker (The Good Wife), Alexandra Milchan (The Wolf of Wall Street), Scott Lambert (Jane Got a Gun), and Guymon Casady (Game of Thrones). It’s produced by Scott Free, Emjag Productions and Entertainment 360 in association with AMC Studios.

‘Batman: Caped Crusader’ Season 2 Trailer – The Dark Animated Series Returns July 31

Published

The Caped Crusader is back in the upcoming Batman: Knightfall animated trilogy event, and he’s also returning this Summer in the second season of “Batman: Caped Crusader.”

Prime Video has announced this morning that “Batman: Caped Crusader” Season 2 will premiere on July 31 on Prime. In the meantime, watch the new official trailer down below.

In “Batman: Caped Crusader” Season 2, there are new villains on the streets of Gotham City and there’s only one man for the job. This season, it’s not a fight anymore. It’s a WAR…

The animated series “Batman: Caped Crusader” is a “reimagining of the Batman mythology” from J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, Bruce Timm, Sam Register and Ed Brubaker.

“Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human—The Batman.

“His one-man crusade for justice attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications.”

Daniel Kurland wrote in his review of the first season, “Batman: Caped Crusader’s unique, terrifying take on established corners of the DC universe is sure to resonate with horror fans, comic book aficionados, and everything in between. Caped Crusader’s immersion into EC Comics ideology and a true indulgence in horror is a superpower that’s more fascinating and dangerous than any WayneTech gadget or Kryptonite-powered super-suit.”

Hamish Linklater voices Batman/Bruce Wayne in the series, alongside Mckenna Grace, Reid Scott, Dane Donohue, Gary Anthony Williams, Jason Watkins, John Dimaggio, Krystal Joy Brown, Michelle C. Bonilla, Eric Morgan Stuart, Tom Kenny, Minnie Driver, Diedrich Bader, Jamie Chung and Christina Ricci.

Based on DC characters, “Batman: Caped Crusader” hails from Warner Bros. Animation, Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions and Reeves’ 6th & Idaho. Along with Abrams, Reeves and Timm, “Batman: Caped Crusader” executive producers include Ed Brubaker, James Tucker, Daniel Pipski, Rachel Rusch Rich, and Sam Register.
