The first trailer for Pierre Morel‘s action-thriller Peppermint is here and features an angry Jennifer Garner on a vicious revenge campaign that’s likened to John Wick. The biggest selling point are the shots of a roughed up Garner that look reminiscent of Linda Hamilton’s badass Sarah Connor in James Cameron’s T2: Judgment Day.
“Peppermint tells the story of young mother Riley North (Garner) who awakens from a coma after her husband and daughter are killed in a brutal attack on the family. When the system frustratingly shields the murderers from justice, Riley sets out to transform herself from citizen to urban guerilla. In theaters September 7th, 2018, the film also stars John Ortiz, John Gallagher Jr., and Juan Pablo Raba.
