In Just 9 Seconds, This Twisted Video Will Leave You Begging for a ‘Super Mario’ Horror Game

Look. I don’t want to waste your time with a whole bunch of dumb words that needlessly set up this incredible video in an effort to justify an article rather than a simple re-tweet from the Bloody Disgusting Twitter account (follow us if you’re not already!), but at the same time, I kinda can’t imagine *not* writing an article about something this cool. So here goes.

Twitter’s @Beeple, an artist who, as stated in his bio, “designs shit,” brings us this little slice of viral gold, a nightmarish video that reimagines Super Mario as the massive monster in a terrifying video game. Running 9-seconds long, the video has a found footage-style, Cloverfield-esque feel to it, with troops on the ground and in the air battling the Kaiju threat.

In the big guy’s hand? The dismembered body of poor Toad, dripping entrails.

The comments range from “what the fuck” to “you should direct a movie,” and we pretty much agree with them all. Check out Beeple’s twisted take on Super Mario down below.

And yes, we too wish this video was *so much* longer.
