How many times have you played one of the Super Mario Bros. only to fall into a pit to your death? I know that everyone who’s played that game has encountered this situation at least once, watching Mario plummet to his certain demise while the music almost cheerfully announces his passing.
But what if Mario didn’t simply fall to his death? What if there was a more grim and terrifying fate that awaited him at the bottom of that pit? That’s what YouTube channel Nukazooka took as the inspiration for a new video and it’s fucking HORRIFYING! Not only does Mario land amidst a pile of his own corpses, he also encounters mutated and deformed versions of the very creatures he faces when alive. But none of that holds a candle to the ultimate monstrosity that this almost “Stranger Things” Upside Down-esque land holds: Luigi.
That’s right! Mario’s own brother is the true evil that has taken over this land and he’s nothing like what anyone remembers! Even Mario can’t face off against his own kin, electing instead to run as fast as he can.
