]]>Until Dawn 2 is a standalone experience, featuring a brand new cast, and a whole new world to explore. Obviously, your decisions still shape the story: who falls victim, and who survives. The story centers this time on a crew of ghost hunters, who are behind the wildly popular paranormal channel, “Dead True”. Ironically, they’ve never actually seen anything supernatural, as the whole show is staged.
That changes quickly, as the crew has just signed a deal with a big TV network, and gets shipped off to an abandoned tropical island for their first fully funded episode. Things take a dark turn once on the island, as beneath the blissful exterior, hides dark secrets that are centuries old and hungry for vengeance.
As is the case, you’ll be needing to make some tough decisions in the game. However, this time, how you manage relationships within the crew matters more than ever, with some branches based on where things stand between characters.
More details on the game are expected in the coming months.

]]>ILL immerses you in its tense narrative that unfolds at a huge research fort. A mysterious source of evil and the horrific Aberrations it generates stand in the way of the main character saving what’s most precious. Team Clout aims to push the limits of the genre with the gory realism found in ILL. Monsters can be maimed and mercilessly torn to pieces. Shredded flesh, exposed bones, and eviscerated carcasses “will make an unprecedented impression and shock you to the core.” Complementing the carnage is the game’s binaural audio system, amplifying the emotional impact.
Enemies are unpredictable, and the realistic physics make the environment not just a backdrop but an active part of the gameplay, including when solving puzzles. Your actions can affect the monsters’ behavior and trigger unexpected reactions.
The physics used in ILL also apply to the weapons. You’ll feel the weight of every weapon in your hands with “elaborate” animations that reflect its unique physical properties. Accuracy alone isn’t enough—you’ll have to check your arsenal for defects, modify your weapons, and upgrade them. Strategic inventory management is crucial to your survival. ]]>Focusing on the idea that you’ll never see Jason coming, the trailer touches on one of his abilities in Omnipresent Evil—a stealth-based ability that encapsulates the Killer’s knack for popping up in unexpected places to catch his victims off guard. Activating Omnipresent Evil causes Jason to vanish from the Map entirely, allowing him to move at increased speed while giving Survivors zero clues as to his whereabouts. While invisible, Jason can track his prey through faint visual cues like footsteps.
Jason’s other ability taps into his signature creativity when it comes to kills in Improvised Carnage. Scattered throughout the Map are containers filled with makeshift projectiles. Jason can pick up and throw these items with devastating force. Unlike other ranged Killers, each projectile must be gathered individually and will only be replenished the next time Jason enters Omnipresent Evil, adding a layer of strategy to their use.
Jason, known in the game as The Slasher, will be arriving in Dead by Daylight on June 16 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.

]]>Zangyou is described as a first-person psychological horror game built around tense exploration, environmental puzzles, and surviving a building that does not want to let you leave.
You wake up alone on Floor 32 of a deserted Tokyo skyscraper. The exits are sealed, and the elevators are dead. That doesn’t seem too scary until you remember that every light, lock, and corridor is controlled by MirAI, the building’s hostile central intelligence. And guess who sees you as an intruder?
To reach the street, you’ll search abandoned offices, restore power, unlock sealed routes, and solve environmental puzzles while the tower turns against you. Things get really weird when corridors begin to shift, and the MirAI machines patrol the halls.
Some spaces don’t belong in the building at all. Step through the wrong gap and the office falls away, replaced by concrete, fluorescent hum, and the feeling that you’ve dropped outside the architecture entirely.
Currently, the team is conducting an ongoing playtest, which you can sign up for from the game’s Steam page.

Compounding matters is that the power is out, leaving you to rely on candlelight (and the management thereof) to navigate your teacher’s sprawling house, all the while avoiding your teacher’s murderous intents. The inventory system for Dark Lessons has you scouring the environment for items to combine in order to solve said puzzles. At the same time, you’ll also be uncovering dark secrets surrounding your teacher and her family.
Adding to it all is Dark Lessons‘ low-poly style reminiscent of graphic novels, combined with a “tense” soundtrack to provide a sinister atmosphere.

By obtaining the Core-ID administrator module, players gain the ability to come back from the dead, instantly making the protagonist enemy number one. Amidst all of that, they must balance the survival of their community against the scarcity of resources. Will you be a savior to your people, or exploit them to gain power?

Accursed creatures stalk the barren lands between settlements, which are themselves terrible places; squalid, medieval and mostly ruled by tyrants.
Control your party of up to six unique mercenaries, with each one joining your party with their own talents (and preexisting injuries), as you embark on a quest across the poisoned lands to stop a wicked demonic incursion. Target enemy limbs, severing and weakening your foes in Entropy’s tactical turn-based combat. The description makes note of a couple of locations, from the local hardware store and pub, to the town post office and cemetery.
“Given the enduring love for the Halloween franchise, constructing the expanded landscapes of Haddonfield has been both a profound honor and thrilling opportunity,” says Art Director Cole Gray. The team used the original film locations to serve as as their primary reference point, using “brief glimpses” of those landmarks, fleshing them out into a cohesive, atmospheric Midwest town.
“What excites me most about these playspaces is the depth of immersion they provide. We aren’t just building a static map; we’re creating a stage for high-stakes roleplay where players become the leads in their very own horror movies, Giving fans the freedom to inhabit this world within the direct context of the film’s narrative offers a level of cinematic agency that I believe fundamentally elevates our efforts with Halloween: The Game.”

If you miss one doppelganger, they will return later that shift to try and kill you and your friends. To prevent this, you must take the obvious route and execute them on site. If you mess up, be prepared to set traps, barricade the doors and hide as the doppelgangers return as monsters.

As you do so, you must also work to find survivors and uncover the mystery behind the Sludge.
“We can’t wait to see what players will think about the game! We hope it will be something that will challenge them, occasionally scare them, but most importantly bring them nostalgic joy for a genre that we feel still has a lot to offer,” says Krufs Productions Founder and Creative, Tobias Karlsson. “Heavy Metal Death Can is an honest expression of two 30-something misfits following their creative impulses for better or worse because nobody is there to tell them otherwise.”
Much like titles such as Crow Country, Heavy Metal Death Can is inspired by the style of early console classics. The game sports the classic fixed camera angles and tank controls (with optional modernized controls). It’s also not for the lackadaisical. Resource management and high-stakes decision-making are required, as the Sludge isn’t a threat you can simply shoot your way through. Every bullet must be carefully considered.
Heightening the tension is the game’s distorted soundtrack and unnerving audio design, ensuring players that they’re never truly safe, even in silence.

Or, you can take advantage of your position to feed your own thirst and ambitions.
You’ll be able to recruit ten companions to aid you in your mission, ranging from other vampires, con-artists and more. You also have your vampire magic to use and abuse, including Mesmerism for exerting control over the living, Natural Dominion for making animals do your bidding, and more.
Look for Nighthawks later this year on Steam.

]]>The game sees players trapped in a cruel show, where they have to take their seats and face warped versions of minigames. The rules are simple: In front of you is a device with numerous teeth. Press the teeth one by one. However, one of the teeth is the wrong one. The results of pressing the wrong one are rather gruesome.
Between turns, players use influence cards to change the odds, protect themselves, sabotage opponents and trigger chaotic events. A bluff can throw you or anyone at the table off their game. A safe move can become a disaster in seconds. A desperate player can turn the whole table against someone else. Each card can save you, break someone else’s plan or turn a safe-looking move into a problem.
Should you fail, a bad move can cost you a hand, knock you out of the round, shift the balance at the table and turn the whole match against you.

]]>The post Deduction Horror Title ‘Peek’ Out Now on Steam [Trailer] appeared first on Bloody Disgusting!.
]]>“When I started creating this game, I wanted to make something that stood out from other horror games that relied heavily on jumpscares and dying flashlights. That idea eventually became Peek, an audio-puzzle based game where you use your ears to collect clues rather than your eyes,” explains Andy of Loyal Mussy. “It’s been a long journey full of many lessons, but I’m genuinely proud of it and feel it offers something new to experience when it comes to horror games.”
The story for Peek centers around Father Herman Goldie (aka you). Goldie has been summoned by the McFarland family to perform a little exorcism at their house to rid it of its former occupant, the late Edna Maney. Maney’s body was found under mysterious circumstances in the attic weeks ago, and though her remains have been removed, something else still lingers in the house.
As you might expect, you’ll need to perform the exorcism ritual to expel Edna. To do so, you must kneel in the center of a 5×5 grid of blessed salts, where you’ll engage in a terrifying game of Simon. The key difference is that you must do so while your eyes are closed.
Using immersive spatial audio as a key gameplay mechanic, you’ll need to listen as the spirit moves throughout the room, triggering each square’s unique audio clue: a squeaky floorboard, a blood-soaked rug, hanging windchimes, and more. You’ll need to identify the pattern while mapping her movements using only sound. From there, you’ll need to place the correct relics on the active tiles to exorcise the room of her presence.
As you progress, the spirit will demand ever more complex rituals, putting your memory and your ears to the test. And above all, don’t peek!

]]>The first story campaign built around Terran Command‘s Territory Mode mechanics, The Eradicators expansion is set on the desolate planet of Ghutana – the testing ground for the Federation’s latest chemical, radiation and biological weapons. You’ll deploy this new technology to support lead scientist Doctor Kraus with his “Hercules Program” – an ambitious project that ultimately aims to capture the monstrous Hydra Bug.
The Eradicators DLC comes with new player units derived from pheromonal and mind-control research, allowing you to deploy and control your own Arachnid hordes on the battlefield through new units and abilities. Adding to that are a range of other new unit types equipped with experimental chemical and radiation weapons technology, representing the cutting edge of Federation technology.
Of course, there are also new bugs for you to stomp, as the harsh, polluted environment of planet Ghutana has led to new Arachnid variants. This includes the Buzzer Drone, the explosive Geiger Bug, and the corrosive Acid Grenadier.
As mentioned, The Eradicators DLC makes use of the game’s Territory Mode, which was released as a massive free update at the end of 2025. The mode focuses on freedom of choice and tactics, and allows players to mix and match content from the base game and all of its DLCs. You start by choosing a Battle Group – each built around unique units, technologies, and combat doctrines – and then select your next mission. These can take you to the base game’s desert world, Kwalasha; the volcanic planet of Gehenna (Raising Hell DLC); or the cityscape of Managar on planet Varuna (Urban Onslaught DLC).
The Eradicators Battle Group adds the new planet, new unlockable cosmetics, every new unit, technology and ability as well as the new Arachnid variants to the Territory Game mode.

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and went on to play Sitges, Beyond Fest, Red Sea Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival, and Overlook Film Festival, among others.
I wrote in my review, “The Furious is 112 minutes of wall-to-wall, hard-hitting, martial arts action. It may not be quite as expertly crafted as The Raid or as hyper-violent as The Night Comes For Us, but in a post-Epstein world, it’s incredibly satisfying to watch child traffickers get their comeuppance.”
The Furious is rated R for “strong bloody violence and language.”

]]>In Table 9, the routine is familiar: take the orders from nine tables and deliver coffee to all tables in sequence. All the while, you must inspect the cafe, and decide what to do with the receipt. The cafe does not stay the same. Watch the room, the decor, and the customers carefully. If something has changed, throw the receipt away. If everything looks normal, pin it and move forward.
Every correct delivery pushes your run forward. One wrong decision sends the player back to the start of the shift.
“I love the cozy specialty cafes in Barcelona, and I wanted to take that comfort and slowly make it feel wrong,” explains UsamaIndieDev. “Table 9 is about paying attention to small details, trusting your memory, and feeling that little doubt when you ask yourself if the room really looked like this before.”
And if you need a break from the stress, you can always step behind the bar and practice latte art before heading back onto the floor.

As a result, you’ll need to do your duty as a physician and dig into your patients’ auditory canals to remove the rotting growths, insects and all manner of things that should never be found in any human ear to uncover this community’s unsettling secrets.
The deeper you descend into the clinic’s daily routine, the more the town itself begins to unravel. Something is not right here. Something writhes beneath the walls, beneath the skin, beneath that distant buzzing in your ear. And there is something more than meets the eye in this town.

Players must balance the needs of their ever-hungry monster clientele with the dangers lurking outside the shop. As demand grows, they’ll invest in better equipment, expand their butcher shop, and craft increasingly unusual products, from fresh brains to bottled blood and other monster-ready delicacies. ]]>According to Fantastico Creative Director Andrea Valesini, Green Inferno is an investigation horror game in the spirit of Color Gray Games’ The Case of the Golden Idol, combined with the graphic violence of Italian exploitation cinema, and built upon an original script by Ruggero Deodato.
The road to Green Inferno has been a rocky one. Development kicked off back in 2019, and was marked by significant setbacks: a 2020 legal dispute over image rights forced the studio to rename the project, a subsequent wave of international criticism required a creative rethink, and Deodato’s passing in 2022 cast doubt on the entire project. Fantastico Studio chose to continue, releasing the visual novel Cannibal Tales in 2024 as the first narrative expansion of the universe, and now culminating with Green Inferno.
“For six years we kept asking ourselves whether it was worth continuing. Every time, the answer came from the material itself, a story Ruggero couldn’t have told in any other way,” says Valesini. “Green Inferno is that story.”
Taking place in the same universe as Cannibal Tales, the game follows a group searching for a film reel on a tropical island, with its footage containing disturbing material tied to real cases of cannibalism. Players take on the role of investigator, exploring illustrated scenes to gather textual and contextual clues, and assembling them to reconstruct the truth.
No date on when the demo will arrive in June, but seeing as Steam Next Fest kicks off on June 15, that would seem as good a time as any to dive into the demo.

]]>The limited-time event prepares Reagents for a future dominated by clashing cults of personality and competing fundamentalist ideals. During the event, players will face a rotating onslaught of Prime Assets, destroy defective televisions for additional rewards, unlock new limited-time cosmetics, and endure two new MK-Challenges designed to “test faith, obedience, and survival instinct”.
In MK-Challenge: Win The Truth, you are the blind observer who consumes screen-fed ignorance and swells with the genius of idiot artifice. You must spread the knowledge that brings suffering to the wise in order to win the game which only punishes the defeated. Meanwhile, MK-Challenge: Incinerate The Relic has you as both heretic and zealot. Relics are the proof of an impossible gospel, the belief that makes whole the deservedly slaughtered lamb. Pay your way into heaven and incinerate the relic to get out.
There’s still more to come, thanks to some new “routine therapies” that will be available next month. The first known as Classified, takes place from June 16 to June 30, and will see multiple secret variators added to the game. The second is Mirror, which runs from June 30 to July 14, and sees the Trial perspective “altered” to mislead Reagents. Furthermore, by popular demand, Murkoff is extending each Routine Therapy to two weeks, giving Reagents more time to adapt or fail under these conditions.
You can read the full patch notes here. The Outlast Trials is available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox.
