Kurt Russell Goes Dark in ‘Undying’
Some fresh news out of Cannes as Deadline reports that Kurt Russell (Escape from New York, The Thing) has attached to star in Undying, a supernatural thriller being written by Book of Eli scribe Gary Whitta. Russell’s aboard to play a private investigator who finds himself recruited by a dark, mysterious woman who draws him into a surreal underworld. They hope to begin production in the fall. Media 8 Entertainment is producing with Circle of Confusion. Media 8 is financing and handling worldwide sales, with Gersh and CAA selling North American territories.
Samuel Goodwin will make his directorial debut with the upcoming indie horror movie Cut Your Teeth, and Deadline reports that Riley Dandy (Christmas Bloody Christmas) will star.
Aaron Moorhead (Spring, The Endless, Synchronic) will be producing Cut Your Teeth.
Arthur Langlie (A Complete Unknown), Oliver Stark (9-1-1) and Madeline Weinstein (Mary Page Marlowe) will star alongside Riley Dandy in the upcoming horror movie.
Filming this Summer in Florida, Cut Your Teeth follows an engagement party weekend that spirals out of control after a secret betrayal fragments a tight-knit friend group.
