First Images of Natalie Portman in ‘Black Swan’!
It’s hard to think of Darren Aronofsky delivering anything short of stunning, which is why I’m so insanely excited for his thriller Black Swan, which centers on a veteran ballerina (Natalie Portman) who finds herself locked in a competitive situation with a rival dancer, with the stakes and twists increasing as the dancers approach a big performance. But it’s unclear whether the rival is a supernatural apparition or if the protagonist is simply having delusions. Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey, Sebastian Stan, and Kristina Anapau also star. Check out your first look at Portman by reading inside.
Director Takashi Yamazaki (Godzilla Minus One) has got a handful of projects in the works, including this year’s Godzilla Minus Zero and 2028’s Grandgear, and Deadline reports this afternoon that Yamazaki will also be directing a mysterious film titled Nue.
20th Century landed the hot project from director Takashi Yamazaki.
The film is being described as “an original epic,” with Ridley Scott producing.
“Plot details are being kept under wraps,” Deadline notes in their report.
Scott Free’s Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss will produce alongside Keiichiro Moriya and Go Abe from Robot Communications, and Toho-Tombo’s Georgina Pope, as well as Amie Horiuchi.
