A Pair of ‘Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night’ TV Spots
In theaters April 29 from Freestyle Releasing is Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night, Kevin Munroe’s live-action adaptation of the popular Italian comic book that stars Brandon Routh, Sam Huntington, Anita Briem, Taye Diggs, Kyle Russell Clements, Peter Stormare, and WWE wrestler Kurt Angle.

“ ‘Dylan Dog’ is a new horror/comedy film based on one of the world’s most popular comics (60 million copies worldwide). Brandon Routh stars as the title character, world famous private investigator specializing in affairs of the undead. His PI business card reads “No Pulse? No Problem.” Armed with an edgy wit and carrying an arsenal of silver and wood-tipped bullets, Dylan must track down a dangerous artifact before a war ensues between his werewolf, vampire and zombie clients living undercover in the monster infested backstreets of New Orleans.”
Filming is underway in Texas on sci-fi horror movie Do Not Open, and Deadline reports that Freddy Carter (Five Nights at Freddy’s 2) and Lulu Wilson (The Last Temptation of Becky) will star.
They’ll be joined by Mark McKenna (The Tourist), Stelio Savante (Sarah’s Oil), Jeremy Gauna (1923), Jada Jay, Diletta Guglielmi, and singer-songwriter John Ford Coley.
The single-location supernatural thriller takes place in a remote storage facility, described as “a place of forgotten story, abandoned memories, locked metal doors, and lives people tried to leave behind.”
That’s a rather intriguing but cryptic description that gives no hint as to the supernatural aspect.
Do Not Open is described as being inspired by “cult genre movies like Christine and Videodrome.” Kristian McKay (Kill Trip) writes and directs.
With filming now underway on the sci-fi thriller, expect to hear more about Do Not Open in the coming months. Stay tuned.
