New ‘BloodRayne: The Third Reich’ Clip, Speak to Uwe Boll!

Phase 4 Films’ “Unrated Director’s Cut” DVD and Blu-ray release of Uwe Boll’s BloodRayne: The Third Reich is arriving on July 5, 2011. Infamous director Uwe Boll’s (Postal, Alone in the Dark) latest cult-classic is the third in the notorious BloodRayne film series, based on the popular video game character.

Inside you’ll now find a pair of clips, while Phase 4 also announced something pretty cool: This Tuesday, June 28th, Uwe Boll and star Natassia Malthe will give fans the opportunity to interview them via a live video chat on USTREAM. Fans can get in on the action via USTREAM or through the BloodRayne: The Third Reich‘s Facebook page. This interactive experience kicks off at 7:30 PM EST/4:30PM PST!

The film stars Natassia Malthe (Elektra, DOA: Dead or Alive), Clint Howard (Frost/Nixon), Michael Paré (The Lincoln Lawyer) and Brendan Fletcher (Freddy vs. Jason). The DVD and Blu-ray are packed with special features including the making of Bloodrayne: The Third Reich, a writer-director commentary, an interview with the writer and more!

Half-vampire, half-human, Rayne (Malthe) hides in the shadows slaughtering vampires and those that get in her way. In 1943 Europe, during World War II, Rayne faces her greatest foe, a growing army of undead Nazi soldiers led by Ekart Brand, a top Nazi official turned day-walker. Rayne must team up with a group of resistance fighters to defeat Brand and his vampire army before they reach Berlin to grant Hitler immortality.

Brazilian Werewolf Fable ‘Good Manners’ Finally Gets Physical Media Release

One of contemporary horror’s best werewolf movies is 2017’s Good Manners, and it’s finally set to receive a proper physical media release.

Icarus Films is partnering with OCN Distribution to unleash a new Blu-ray that’s now available to preorder via Vinegar Syndrome. and with a limited edition slipcover.

Set in São Paulo, the film follows Clara, a lonely nurse from the outskirts of the city who is hired by mysterious and wealthy Ana to be the nanny of her soon to be born child. Against all odds, the two women develop a strong bond. But a fateful night marked by a full moon changes their plans.

Good Manners is the second collaboration between filmmakers Juliana Rojas and Marco Dutra, who write and direct. Zama’s Rui Poças‘ cinematography captures this unique werewolf tale described as “Disney meets Jacques Tourneur.”

Our own Trace Thurman wrote in his review, “With Good Manners, Rojas and Dutro have made one of the best werewolf movies ever made. That they are able juggle commentaries on racism and classism while still managing to tell two deeply affecting love stories is remarkable.”
