Another Paranormal Researcher Heads To Hammer’s 1970’s ‘Quiet Ones’
Sam Claflin (picture below), whose credits include Snow White and the Huntsman and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, has signed on to star alongside Jared Harris in Hammer Films’ supernatural The Quiet Ones, Variety says.
The supernatural thriller-horror is set to be helmed by John Pogue (Quarantine 2: Terminal), with James Gay-Rees (Senna) producing, alongside TPSC Film’s Steven Chester Prince.
Pic, which was originally written by Tom De Ville with revisions by Craig Rosenberg, Oren Moverman and Pogue, “Follows the story of a charismatic professor who uses controversial methods and leads his best students to take part in creating an poltergeist from negative human energy.”
