Garth Ennis has been accused of being nothing but a ‘shock’ writer lately. After all, this is the same Garth Ennis who brought readers the most deplorable piece of comic fiction with “CROSSED”. I say the guy can do what he wants. He has earned that much since beginning his career all the way back in 1989 “TROUBLED SOULS”. No, if there is ANY writer who isn’t affraid to push buttons it is good ol’ Garth. (“CROSSED” had a character who named ‘Horse Cock’ who beat people with, well, a horse cock for God’s sake) So with rumors circulating that “THE BOYS” is on its way to an end, and with Samuel Bayer expressing interest in the movie adaptation, and ‘Horse Cock’ aside, I present to you fine readers the first five slur filled pages of “THE BOYS” issue #41.
