[Exclusive] ‘The Houses October Built 2’ 360° Teaser Buries You Alive

Published

The End is Where We Begin.

Back in 2014, Bobby Roe brought us deep into the world of extreme haunts with The Houses October Built, a found footage gem that was one of my personal favorite horror movies released that year. On September 22, surprise sequel The Houses October Built 2 arrives in limited theaters and on VOD, the film picking up where the first left off.

Where did we leave off? Well, the characters found themselves literally buried alive, presumably putting an end to their story. As it turns out, that was only the beginning.

Tonight, we’re incredibly excited to exclusively debut the very first teaser for The Houses October Built 2, ahead of the full trailer next week. The unique teaser comes in the form of a 360° video, bringing the gap between the 2014 film and this year’s sequel.

Make sure to look all around and have your volume up,” Roe encourages.

Bobby Roe once again directed the film, which he co-wrote with Zack Andrews.

The new film picks up the five haunted-house enthusiast friends still trying to recover from the trauma of being kidnapped last Halloween by the Blue Skeleton — a group who takes “extreme haunt” to another level. They decide to face their fears in order to move on, and go back out on the road to find more haunted houses, but signs of the Blue Skeleton start appearing again.

Brandy Schaefer, Zack Andrews, Mikey Roe and Jeff Larson star.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
