A smart inteligent horror movie that feels like horror from the 50′s-60′s that you never really see whats in the darkness untill it’s too late! I loved this movie so much I bought it!!! It worth watching and it’s super creepy go rent it asap it’s the perfect slumber party horror movie for little girls…hahahahaha lol no its really a good movie!!
emotional and exciting…the most killer ending in modern haunted house films…LITTERALY
This is a PG ghost story. It is 90 minutes of my life I will never get back. If you’re under 10 it might scare you. Terrible
EH…. could do worse. Good for a rainy day.
pointless, no scare to it and a horrible ending
not that good of a movie at all…more like a watered down version of a good idea, but still a very good date movie…
Nothing new or special. Kinda creepy at times but is just an average horror/ghost type movie.
good movie…original idea…horrible ending
Painfully slow paced. There are a few creepy scenes, but only a few. This will leave you more confused than scared.
Darkness is a pretty entertaning horror film. It offers some creepy scenes. I have a soft spot in my heart for haunted house films. I also found the ending to be cool. This is a good movie to kill time when there is nothing else to watch.
Immerse yourself in gradual terror and be delighted by its splendor.
Slow paced and cliched but overall not a bad watch.
If never-ending scenes of flickering lights and things like rolling pencils get your ghost, then this movie is your ultimate horror find. Darkness is bad and boring, and Paquin is it’s only bright spot. At times the story and the actions of the characters can be totally ridiculous, but it is tough not to try and stick it out just because of the strength of the actors involved and the potential the movie could hold. But, all hope is fleeting as this is an Amityville Bore you will soon forget. Pass on Darkness and watch any of a mass of other haunted house movies that are much more horrific then this tame and lame “horror” attempt.
It’s not a bad movie at all, It have many scary parts and a good history. It’s not a master-piece but you can pass a good time with it.
This was incredibly poor. Completely predictable and cliched and just a load of recycled haunted house stories that we’ve seen before, but done much much better. It ripped off The Shining and The Others. The ideas were all over the place and it was also very slow. I was waiting for it to finish if I’m honest. The acting wasn’t great either, I couldn’t understand a word that Spanish bloke was saying! The ending also makes absolutely no sense, but do we care? No. Avoid!
