To paraphrase from Jack Black in High Fidelity, if you haven’t seen Evil Dead II, “you’re a cinematic idiot and I’d feel sorry for you.” I was such a cinematic idiot until about 5 months ago when I actually sat down to watch the film. I had already seen the original Evil Dead as well as Army of Darkness, so I thought I knew what to expect. Boy, was I wrong. instead, what I got was one of the most enjoyable horror comedies I’d ever seen. At the start of the film, we’re given a bit recap of what occurred in the last film; Ash, our hero, and his girlfriend arrive at a creepy cabin in the woods for a cozy weekend. However, after playing a tape recorder which recites demonic passages from the Necronomicon, the Book of the Dead, all hell breaks loose. Soon, our unlikely hero must do battle with reanimated corpses, possessed furniture and his own hand, which has gotten a mind of its own. Against the forces of evil, will Ash and his trusty chainsaw make it through the night, or will he be dead by dawn? I’d recommend that you watch the film to find out. Hail to the King, Baby!
A MUST for horror fans! Excellent!!!
i love this movie , ash is the best !!!!
BRILLIANT. I BET EVERY HORROR FAN has this in their collection…it’s just standard procedure hehehe…
Great jumpy film too, i remember first watching this with my sister, we were like 10/12 years old and we had to switch it off half way through because the part where ashs women dances about in the forest really freaked us out, still makes me jump to this day.
LOVE ASH!!
when is he going to fight the preditor?
This movie is more rushed till the cabin and then really just takes part one on again. This movie is alot more comedic. If you love horror then watch it. An all time must.
Love this movie! ‘Nuff said!
Best sequel/remake of all-time!
it was good i just wish they didnt make it a comedy
A true horror classic. Very gory and silly – although I didn’t find it all that funny, it’s still a fantastic horror film and required viewing for any horror fan.
“This film, is without a shadow of a doubt, one of finest, most imaginative comedy horror films ever made. Raimi, has put all the aspects of the film together in masterful fashion. The camera work and sound effects are pulsating, and the timing is perfection. And in Bruce Campbell, the film as a lead actor who gives an exceptional performance. Campbell plays “Ash”, an everyday, supermarket attendant who suddenly finds himself thrown into the unusual situation of having to defend himself against, zombies, evil spirits and even his own possessed hand, just in order to survive the night. I laughed, I gasped, and I gripped the arm of my chair throughout! If you like your comedies, black and hilarious, and your horror, gory and sensational, then look no further. Raimi has created the definitive comedy horror! Fantastic!” — gmhutchins7, imdb.com
Evil Dead 2, to be blunt, lacks anything and everything that made the original good. That is not to say that it’s bad, because it’s not, but compared to the original this just looks like a pathetic attempt to rewrite what was already done. If I hadn’t seen the first one–and it really doesn’t matter if you have or not because there is no plot–I would have liked this a lot more, but because I have, this looks, as I said, pathetic.
I don’t think Sam Raimi realized that the original was the perfect comedy because it didn’t try to be a comedy. His obvious attempt to make this a comedy made it less funny than the original. He lost the element of surprise, which is disappointing. Instead, this movie plays out like a mix between Ghostbusters, The Evil Dead, and an episode of Tom and Jerry. It no longer stands on its own two feet, which is another reason it isn’t nearly as good as the first.
Another major flaw is the lack of gore. What happened? I’m a gorehound. I’ve seen the goriest movies ever made, and camera cut-off scenes piss me off. The original was easily one of the goriest movies of the 80′s, and it could even hold up to some of the top-gore movies of the 2000s. But then Evil Dead 2 comes along and the only on-screen gore is a bloodless decapitation. After that, EVERY gore scene, every limb severing, everything is off- camera. Sure, you see a bit of blood every now and then as an aftereffect, but why couldn’t they show decapitations and limb severing on camera anymore? Once again, the lack of gore is so obvious it had me screaming at the screen in rage. What happened? What was Sam Raimi thinking?
With all that said, I’m not going to deny there were some purely awesome scenes in the beginning and some–but very few–in the middle and end. Dead by dawn, chainsaw for and arm, the laughing house–it was great to see how all those clichés originated. Apparently this film is more groundbreaking than I had known.
But then again, this seems so safe compared to the original. So clean. Everything that made The Evil Dead laughably disturbing is noticeably gone (like the tree rape). As I said, the violence is noticeably gone. All the cheese-creepy visuals, like the amount of zombie-demon-things on screen laughing, are gone. What’s left is pretty much a safe attempt at black comedy, minus the black. And that’s disappointing.
As much as I trash it, I still think it’s worthy of being watched, though not a worthy sequel. Just grab your girlfriend or your 12-year-old son or a group of best friends and try to have the best time you can. But if you can’t have that fun because you realize this movie isn’t even deserving of cleaning up The Evil Dead’s pee off the floor, I can’t blame you.
I LOVE this movie.
This is the definitive horror/comedy. A must-see!
like Evil Dead One but better!
Like Evil Dead, there is really no need for a long-winded review for the 2nd installment. So let’s sum up the highlights…
Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi, Posessed Hand, Ted Raimi as Henrietta, Ash’s man scream when Henrietta pops her head out (hilarious).
It’s horror/comedy at its finest. Watch it.
To me when Bruce Campbell is alone it is the best piece of film ever shot. Along with the other two I LOVE this movie.
the best evil dead/sequel ever made
why i watch this movie once every weekend.? .. its soo fucking funny and scary at the same time … so gri8 Sequal and better than original .. i like u ASH.. this more like it hehehe
One of the best movies of all time.
Why am I even writing this?
This movie doesn’t need my help.
One of the greatest movies ever.
The best comedy horror ever
its the perfect movie
This is the single movie that made me simultaneously love horror and want to be a filmmaker!
I thought that evil dead 2 was my favourite movie along with the original.
Storyline: Wicked. 10/10
Acting: One again fucking brilliant. 10/10
Special Effects: Uber cool. 10/10
Best Scene: When ash’s hand went bad. 10/10
Ending: Groovy. 10/10
Overall evil dead 2 is just as good as the original and I give it a well deserved 10/10
i love the first this is right up there!
Evil Dead Rocks. From the minute you turn it on Bruce had you laughing so hard that you cant breath with awesome one liners and a chainsaw for an arm. Bruce can come kicks zombie ass in my town any time. This is a cult classic and should be watched by any person who truly enjoys films.
BitterSweet.
Pretty much the perfect over the top horror comedy ever made. It’s insane, it’s gory, it has great effects. It’s a true classic. Despite not having any real dialogue for the first thirty minutes, it’s easily one of the most quoted horror movies ever. Plus Bruce Campbell’s character, Ash, is so iconic. He’s brilliantly cast; the master of “I’m going fucking batty slap stick horror”.
Try not to enjoy this movie. I dare you.
The greatest horror comedy ever made, over the top and great special effects and don’t Bruce Campbell as Ash which is an iconic character, Groovy!
This one was watched multiple times back in the day, & is still one of my favs. My friend Casey & I always cracked up during the “fruitcellar” scene!!! When Ash hears the tape being played & it says “I buried her in the fruit cellar”. That look of dread on his face is fucking priceless. Plenty of gore & laughs in this one. Turn off your brain & enjoy!!!
My friends and I still watch numerous times a year. It has to be the greatest blend of horror and comedy ever created, and it will ALWAYS have a special spot at the top of my DVD collection.
the evil dead trilogy has infinite replay value, i swear it does. you NEVER get tired of seeing them. ever.
Just when I thought Evil dead couldn’t have been any better than what it was, Oh boy was I wrong. This is easily my favorite out of the trilogy because not only is it more grotesque and violent, but because it takes the series in a new, better direction and keeps the original elements inclusive. Not only is it scary and campy, but it’s also fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is the best thing about it. Such as the laughing scene, the hand dismemberment scene, and the laughing Deadites.
Everything that has to be said about the sheer brilliance of Evil Dead 2 has been already said. It’s scary, frightening, grotesque, fun, funny, brilliant, and a genius work of art. Excellent. If you liked Evil Dead 2′s predecessor, you will love the sequel that much more. Speaking of that, I should order a copy today. I highly recommend the trilogy to any avid horror fan. Absolutely fantastic.
Sam Raimi’s calling card, Bruce Campbell’s career performance! What hasn’t been said, this movie should already be in every horror fans collection. Buy it, rent it, steal it, whatever!
A very fun horror comedy.
evil dead 2 was just as good as the first evil dead. loads of gore and a chainsaw arm, what more could you ask for.
insanely creepy and just the right amount of grotesque.
i loved this movie.
dont rent, BUY!!!!
This installment of the of Evil Dead trilogy took a comedic turn, and it worked magnificently. This masterpiece definitely belongs in YOUR collection.
am i the only person her who didnt like this movie??? yes, i respect Sam Raimi and the fact that he was working with outdated technology, but the fact is that this movie was nothing brilliant or anything close to spectacular even…i agree that older movies that inspired other movies deserve our respect, but this movie didnt spawn anything noteworthy (if anything at all)…the special fx, even for that time, were horrible and underthought…the plot for this movie is kind of stupid to begin with…why would the evil spirits not just take control of evrybody if they want life sooo bad??? evil trees really???
lol hope no one gets to mad about this but I didn’t like it very much. The first one was great though!
The best saga ever made.
One can see the improvements and evolution since EVIL DEAD (1.
The same atmosphere and feeling from EVIL DEAD.
GR8 movie.
Ole of the worst movies evr! how come everybody but me like it so mush?!
This film was ok, but it was nothing compared to the original Evil Dead. It got kind of cartoonish in some scenes and you could tell they weren’t taking this movie seriously. I wish they would have, Bruce Campbell is good as Ash of course, but thats about the only bright spot to a missed opportunity to make another horror gem.
I feel sorry for the Guys who just don
Sam Raimi is the ONLY director who can pull horror comedy off to perfection. This is an example where a sequel surpasses its predecessor. Evil Dead 2 is a must have for every horror fan out there.
Although Sam Raimi still makes good flicks, I think that this was his last GREAT one. Love the workshed sequence.
This movie was easily the best of the trilogy. Very funny and gory. Loved it all.
I absolutley LOVE this movie. And I love that they didn’t do so much of a sequel as a …. change of content… type thing.
Its absoutley amazing, and Sam Raimi is a hero.
groovy
the movie was bloodthirsty enough, but it wasn’t at all scary. and why is it called ‘Evil Dead 2′ when it clearly starts off as if Ash didn’t ever know about the demons up at the cabin? it looks more like a remake!
An entertaining ride, but I’m not sure it’s the “end all” of horror classics like many fans make it to be. I recommend it to horror fans, but be prepared to laugh more than scream.
My favourite out of the trilogy
A sequel that goes way above and beyond the first!
It can’t truly compare to the first because this is definitely not pure horror like the first, but instead an insane hybrid horror/comedy.
One of the best sequels, but I still liked the first one better.
bruce campbell
nuff said
You know it and you love it. It also has one of my favorite cover designs ever.
this was better than the first, but still horrible. Clearly over rated
This one was pretty cool, but not as good as the first. This movie is weird to watch after watching the first one. The humor makes this movie weird and not serious. I liked how the first one was more serious.
This was actually the first of the Evil Dead movies that I watched. I didn’t know what to expect, and after laughing my ass off, went and rented the first one, then saw Army of Darkness in the theater when it came out. Say what you want, but I love these films because they don’t really take themselves too seriously and got funnier with each installment. Missed that humor until Raimi did Drag Me to Hell.
This film is classic. Before directing the SPIDERMAN Trilogy Sam Raimi directed Horrors. After a huge success in his first EVIL DEAD film he made this. I like this film because it gives more backstory on THE BOOK OF THE DEAD which is great. This film technically picks up where The Evil Dead left off. With Ash trying to go home until the Candarian Demons take his soul. Lucky for him, they hate daylight so he changes back to himself. Later in the film, he changes back into the Demon, And cuts his Possesed Denomic hand off. He then replaces it with a Chainsaw and saws the Shotgun to the size off your standard Sawn-off Shotgun. The best line in this film is near the end, when fighting a tree like Demon thing, pulls out his Sawn-Off Shotgun and says ‘Swollow This’ and blows its head off!! A great film for ALL Evil Dead fans!!
The effects in the movie is cool, and it has a lot of gore!
but.. it’s not one of my favorites..
I freaking love this movie!! It’s so awesome and hilarious, and it’s pretty creepy at times. A perfect balance!
Evil Dead is a classic to me and most, but I just don’t hold the same for Evil Dead 2. I’m all for comedic turns in horror, but this one gets a bit too looney tunes for my taste. It also misses some of the darker horror of the original and shoots for more low brow thrills and laughs (which is very appealing to the ones who hold this in second-to-none regard, which is very understandable). This is a movie that can divide people in camps just because of the true devoters of Campbell reigning this as a top classic no matter what, but I really think that Evil Dead 1 and Army are much better. Recommended, but not pedastooled in my book.
Better than the first. One of the best cult classics of all time.
YEAH BABY THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVS!!!!!!!!! I love this movie from the bottom of my heart from the laughing deer head to the awesome chainsaw hand and the boomstick. This made my day when i saw it on comcast so freaking awesome. No better low budget film
Groovy! Evil Dead 2 is one of the most entertaining films i have ever watched. Its gory, weird, and fucking hilarious. I could not ask for a better film.
This Sequel/Remake is different jus as good as the Orinigal/First one & is brilliant funny & scary Movie, its an out-standing/Mind-Blowing Sequel(that is very rare for a Horror Movie to have such overwhelming Positive responds). The Movi is guresome & over Bloody as hell made mejump, gave me nightmares (like a True Horror Movie should do) & also made me laugh, but then give me scarys stright afterwards. Its an amzing Horror, Thriller, Fantasy, Action & Comedy Movie of the 1980′s (1987)and is a great cinematic Movie by the great Horror Master Sam Raimi
great,but slight problems.
The best of both worlds: The horror of Evil Dead and the comedy of Army of Darkness. You will love Bruce Campbell after you watch this. If you don’t, I’m going to chainsaw your head off.
……………YES
More of a remake of Evil Dead than a sequel and closer to Army of Darkness in tone. This movie is a blast! If I wasn’t jumping, I was laughing, don’t miss it!
Just as good as “evil dead” just a bit different.
With a perfect blend of comedy and horror, evil dead 2 is easily one of the best horror movies of all time. Its cheesy at times, yes, but that adds to the zany fun.
It was this film (and the next), that immortalized b-grade actor , Bruce Campbell, to one of the most memorable horror movie protagonists of all time. Ash, the chainsaw armed, wise cracking s-mart employee and slayer of deadites.
Evil Dead 2 is the surprise horror classic that is better than the original. It offers more laughs and scares than the first. Sam Raimi is one of the greatest film makers of all time. Evil Dead 2 is a must see!
Great Movie! Loved Evil Dead 1 and loved number 2 the 3rd one sucked.
And now for something completely different….Sam Raimi remakes Evil Dead one as slapstick humor. He ends up creating one of the most original horror movies of the 80s. I can’t see how he could improve on this film at all. Again near perfect.
Basically a remake of the original with more budget to work with. DUH. Lots of fun! Played for laughs, unlike the original Evil Dead.
Another excellent installment from Raimi, this one has way more laughs than the first. A must see.
The best.
A classic, this film can be remebered by one sene the hand senne
another great installment to a awesome horror/comedy series
why BD has not reviewed this movie is beyond me. the evil dead series are what this web site is all about. like the first its all around creepy and full of gore, another must see for true fans of horror.
Evil Dead 2 is an all time classic. Gory and funny, it’s one of my all time favorites.
Yet another classic.
Evil dead 2 not as Dark The Evil dead and it more of comedy, which is not bad thing at all.
This movie has some scary moments and the demons are still scary in this movie but the most is just playing hilarious! from stat to end, there still a lot gore in this movie, less then The Evil Dead.
Not as awesome as The Evil dead but still fantastic sequel the acting from Ash was Outstanding.
This movie fucking rocks! One of my favorite horror films. Bruce Cambell’s acting is fucking legendary.
I’ve been raised to believe that recycling is a very good thing, and indeed it is. I never would have imagined that such a word as “recycle” could apply to a film, but here you go; “The Evil Dead 2″ is good at recycling. The film is considered a sequel- or perhaps even a remake- or Raimi’s previous film, “The Evil Dead”. What a fantastic film that was; wonderfully ghoulish, deviously demonic, and hilariously awesome in just about every way possible. If the word “rehash” means anything to you, then you might want to see “The Evil Dead 2″.
Sam Raimi is really, really good at taking old material and an old premise and turning it into something almost entirely new. Here, he has taken the concept of his little directorial debut, yet here he has more money to spend and less blood to shed; still making that PLENTY of the red, red kroovy. The film does what it wants to do very well, and that alone makes it a rather strong recommendation.
Ash and his girl go to a cabin in the woods for a few nights. The film pretty much re-sets the clock and adds new events to “The Evil Dead” story, and we might as well count the first film as “non-existent” to this universe and its little tale. Anyways, a sound recording and a devious little book turn things from good to bad in an instant, and Ash’s love gets possessed. He is forced to kill her early on, and things don’t stop there.
The whole film is taken up by slap-stick gags, gore-gags, and plenty of other insane humoristic elements as well. So “The Evil Dead 2″, like the film that started all this twisted madness, is less about its story, but more-so about what happens, and how admirably crazy it all is. “The Evil Dead 2″ is certainly less gruesome and twisted when compared to “The Evil Dead”, but that doesn’t mean that it lacks the elements of fun and surprise.
There are some good scares, some really good laughs, and moments where there’s actually some really good writing going on. If you can accept humor in the form of gore and particularly demented slap-stick, which was required to enjoy the first film, then here’s a film that you should watch. I still think that, in spite of the lack of connection between the two plots, you should watch “The Evil Dead” before you watch the sequel. If you can observe both films and see them as art-since that’s probably what they are-then you’ll get a good feeling for Raimi’s artistic vision.
As for Ash, his role is reprised by Bruce Campbell; the guy with the awesome chin. Of course, Campbell is in full “Bruce Campbell: Action Hero” mode here, and has a few really memorable quotes/lines. His campiness has somewhat improved, since camp is the focus of the film rather than gruesomeness, which is OK. I like Campbell’s roles in which he knows not of his comedy, yet he knows he kind of sucks. He’s gone on to do self-parodies, which are always good for actors such as him, right?
So while “The Evil Dead 2″ is no “Evil Dead”, it’s still a damn fine movie. The entertainment is consistent, and I had a lot of fun with the movie. It’s a film with one joke; demons. But what Raimi does with this joke…that’s what’s interesting and worthy of watching. Without the humor, these movies would be nothing; they would be forgettable. But what makes the first two “Evil Dead” films so memorable is their uncanny ability to actually charm a certain audience. Horror can be both frightening and hilarious, now can’t it? That’s why we invented “camp”. Sam Raimi is one of the more influential “campy” directors out there, and his work is almost impossible to NOT like. So if you like Raimi, or the “Evil Dead” series, then “The Evil Dead 2″ is by all means worth seeing. It has not aged a bit, as far as horror sequels go, and I really do appreciate the fun and recycling skills that it demonstrates. See, kids: recycling is good after all. It’s also groovy, as Ash would put it.
Sam Raimi has perfected yet another great horror film. Evil Dead 2(Dead By Dawn) is gorier than the first, better acting, and great(and sometimes funny) effects and props.
I watched this with my brother one night and laughed our asses off on the scene where Ash is fighting his handXD.
9 out of 10
wasnt to keen on it being a remake of the first but by all means, a fucking awsome film!! more laughs and gore than the first, you will not be bored!
Better than the original!
You’ve gotta love Raimi for taking the same concept from the first one and completely turning it on its head–from horror to comedy. This is a movie that is so ridiculous you have to love it, and, I mean, come on… chainsaw. The only thing that subtracts is the quiet moments that are supposed to be tense, but lack punch.
Completelly different than the first one, but still kind of the same.
The second part of the Evil Dead trilogy recaps the first one and follows the events that happen after that. And even if the story is pretty much the same, it goes a whole different way of delivering it, the first one being that this is not a horror movie, but a horror comedy, which is the biggest change.
This gives the movie a whole new atmosphere, where it is fun to be scared, and where all the gags workout well, even when they are in a gruesome context.
But the showstealer in this one aren’t the effects, the atmosphere or the cinematagrophy, but Bruce Campbell delivering his One Man Show, showing how much comedic talent he has.
Maybe no masterpiece, and maybe not as important to the horror genre as the first one, it still deserves 5 from 5 skulls for being one of the most entertaining movies of all time, delivering horror as well as comedy.
Well, I’m sorry to blow a hole in the big party boat here, but I though “Evil Dead 2″ was a huge disappointment and a massive disaster in terms of film-making. The original evil dead is absolutely brilliant and I gave it a 5 star review, but this one is completely ridiculous and the polar opposite of the first one. At least “The Evil Dead” had some logic! It seems like “Evil Dead 2″ just takes half thought up ideas and (sometimes liturally) projects them on screen!
“Evil Dead 2″ is a complete mess. I could perhaps tollerate the start where Ash is going crazy for about 10 minutes but then it started to become extremely tedious, with one insane thing happening after the other. I was hoping for a change when the professor’s crew started coming in, but it was the same things happening again, only with more people! One really bad effect after the other. Really it was just a showcase for Bruce Campbell and the horrendous “special” effects. They were special in terms of autistic!
The effects in the first film seemed much better and I was under the impression that they decided to remake the first one because they had a bigger budget to play around with. Didn’t look like they bothered using it! Almost everything didn’t make sense and so it became tiresome, and yes I did laugh but I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to. I was laughing at it, rather than with it, which is maybe what the makers intended to do for some bizzare reason.
As a comedy it tries to hard and as a horror it simply isn’t up to it. Where are the likable characters? Where is the great directing? This is a lazy sequel/remake that for some reason everyone seems to love! I was expecting something really good after watching the spectacular original but it unfortunately that wasn’t to be found. I’m sorry people but I just don’t get it!
Groovy. When I was 11 years old, I sat down and watched Evil Dead II for the first time. I was expecting a carbon copy of the first film but got something completely different. First off, this is a horror-comedy. There are moments intended to be creepy and disturbing, and moments that are bat-shit crazy and over the top in a funny way. This movie solidifies Bruce Campbell as one of the best horror movie actors and his character, Ash, as one of the best horror heroes ever. The guy has a chainsaw hand(best weapon ever) and a shotgun. This is one of the best horror comedies ever made along with Re-Animator, Dead-Alive(Braindead) and Army of Darkness. Oh yeah, Army of Darkness, we’ll talk about that one next. 10/10
A great sequel to the original Evil Dead with lots of memorable moments. I personally enjoy this sequel as much as I enjoyed the original Evil Dead so far. Once again director Sam Raimi has done it again he has impressed the audiences once again with his directing on the sequel to the original Evil Dead so far. What’s great about Evil Dead 2 is that the film now has a different theme to the original Evil Dead and the film changed into a slapstick Comedy Horror film than a Horror film like the original Evil Dead. While the original Evil Dead was really dark, scary and full of thrills and out of control scares along with a chilling tension and suspense plus with a really atmospheric atmosphere this sequel this time turns into a Slapstick Comedy Horror film than a Horror film so far. Sam Raimi this time changed the film into a Slapstick Comedy Horror film than a Horror film so far and he impressed the audiences again and he seriously nailed the sequel so far just like what he did to the original Evil Dead. What I personally like about Evil Dead 2 is that the film has lots of funny moments and laughable scenes plus with lots of hilarious jokes and hilarious scenes as well. What I also like about this film is that the make up effects are super funny instead of scary because in the original Evil Dead the make up effects are super scary and creepy as well and it really fits well in the film along with the out of control scares while in this sequel the make up effects are laughable and super hilarious and I instantly laughed so hard when I was watching the movie because the demons in the sequel aren’t scary at all they look really funny and hilarious even the Evil Ash make up seriously looks funny really funny and I instantly laughed hard when I was watching this movie. I seriously laughed at this movie and there are lots of funny comedic scenes in this film. Plus Bruce Campbell’s performance is really funny in this sequel and he seriously did a great job with his performance in the sequel so far. And this sequel is also the start of him turning into a demon slayer hero saving the world from demons with his chainsaw hand and boom stick or what we call the Shotgun until Army of Darkness which is the third Evil Dead movie. Ash was seriously different in the original compared to this sequel because in the original he was just a normal guy who spends time with his friends and his girlfriend until when the demons start to haunt them he really starts to have a hard time killing the demons because there’s a scene in the first movie where he couldn’t kill his friend before his other friend Scott dies. Here in the sequel he became a demon slaying hero saving the world from the demons until Army of Darkness. Now the gore in this movie is seriously different. Unlike the original Evil Dead the gore is nasty, icky and outrageous. While here in the sequel the gore is seriously done in a different style and the gore looks like water mixed with red paint and it seriously fits well for the film so far. I also enjoy the comedy in this movie the movie itself is hilarious and laughable so far and there are lots of funny moments that will keep you laughing until the ending of the movie so far. The performances from the casts is great even Bruce Campbell who did a great job with his performance in the original Evil Dead seriously did an amazing job with his performance in the sequel so far. Director Sam Raimi seriously did a good job once again with his directing in the sequel so far since he did a great job with his directing on the original Evil Dead he did a good job with his directing in the sequel as well. Since Sam Raimi made the audiences jump in the original Evil Dead with lots of out of control scares here in the sequel he made the audiences laugh with lots of funny jokes and scenes as well. I seriously enjoyed this sequel to the original Evil Dead so far but still it’s still not as good as the original Evil Dead because the first movie has lots of scares and thrills that made audiences jump while this sequel is full of laughable slapstick jokes that will make audiences laugh this time so far. Sam Raimi seriously did a great job once again with his directing in the sequel to the original Evil Dead so far I really feel bad that he seriously went down the hill when he directed the Spider Man films because in the Spider Man films he failed after the first two Spider man films when he directed Spider Man 3 and Sam Raimi seriously did a better job with his directing on the Evil Dead series than the Spider Man films. Overall this movie gets a 9/10.
Evil Dead is the shit !
Seeing previous comments on this movie I’m probably going to be hated, but this movie was bad. I think that this movie shouldn’t have tried to be so comedic and pretty far fetched; they should have just stuck with horror and the original feel.
