I still don’t understand by this review, why this scored a 4 out of 10. It didn’t seem like he hated it or that there was any particular reason why it scored so low.
Although it has been some time since I have seen Deranged, I enjoyed it quite a bit. The gore was solid, and the acting was a bit corny, but it was an effective film overall.
This is a good flick. Don’t know why it’s rated so low. The author even recommended it??

Brilliance . . . haunting, atmospheric . . . not as frenetic as TCM, not as “classical” as PSYCHO but creates its own unique sense of dread, mania and oddness . . .th BD rating needs to be re-visited . . .
I think this film is far more scary than TCM. I love TCM, but man…i put it in the other day and the screaming about drives me bat crap! It’s just really annoying.
Fuck’in creepy!
