How in Gods name did this movie – a Ron Jeremy movie – get graced with 8 out of 10 on this site? Look. If you like Ron Jeremy, watch that hairy bastard pump those desperate for a job women in a porn film. This movie is why I personally hate the “horror-comedy”. It leads to things like this…
This is a funny horror comedy!The premise is outlandishly unique.The acting is what you’d expect from porn and b movie actors.The FX are OK.The dialogue cheesy in a good way.Watch with low expectations!
Ron Jeremy dies after 20 minutes or so, so he’s not even present throughout most of the film… but his dick is and so is his spirit.
But honestly, all the porn stars, about whose acting so many people complain, do actually only have pretty small parts (in the movie, haha) with rather little screen time. So relax… in my opinion ONE-EYED MONSTER is a very charming and well-made lowbudget flick that’s actually way funnier than most of the other horror comedies I’ve seen lately (DOGHOUSE, PIG HUNT, TRAILERPARK OF TERROR, etc).
Only watch this movie if you like so bad it’s good crap. Bad direction, bad writing, bad acting. Like porn without sex. I say skip it.
Not as much nudity as I was hoping for, but over all this movie was better then I expected. If you like B horror with a lot of comedy, then you will probably like One Eyed Monster. If you are looking for an award winning psychological thriller….. not so much!

Don’t be fooled by the plot here folks. This is a hugely disappointing flick that doesn’t take advantage of the material. Ron Jeremy’s schlong goes on a rampage and starts killing kids filming an amateur porn. The movie is bloodless and there is VERY little nudity. It doesn’t work as either a comedy or a horror flick.
Don’t waste your time!!
I rated this movie middle of the road because of the movie “Pervert!” which has a very similar pretense with the killer penis and Pervert! has more nudity and more laughs. But while OEM doesn’t offer anything unique based on that, it’s still, overall, a good way to waste an hour or so. If you want something better, however, rent Pervert! (It’s on Netflix for instant stream.)
Overall this movie was a disappointment. It seems like they intended it to be funnier than it was and ended up playing it too straight for it’s own good.
