Jena Malone as Rocket-1

[News Bites] ‘Transylmania’ Lawsuit, Jena Malone ‘Catching Fire’ While Wasikowska Isn’t, & ‘Among Friends’ Characters

Actress Jena Malone (pictured above; Sucker Punch, The Ruins) is in the running for the pivotal role of strong-willed tribute Johanna Mason in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, EW reports. The screenplay was penned by Alyssa Lobit, who also wrote and played the lead character in the award winning film The Things We Carry. There’s no official synopsis yet but with a tagline like “This dinner party’s gonna be killer,” I’m praying that it’s a cross between Clue and Murder Party – the more it’s like the former, the better.
