James Gunn, the man behind the Guardians of the Galaxy films, is certainly no stranger to horror, getting his start working with Troma and writing/directing horror-comedy Slither. Gunn also wrote this year’s The Belko Experiment, and he’s next returning to the horror genre once more.
Deadline reports today that Gunn will produce an untitled horror film for The H Collective, based on a script by his brother Brian Gunn and cousin Mark Gunn.
David Yarovesky, who directed 2015’s under-seen infection horror gem The Hive (pictured above), is attached to direct the project.
Filming is set to begin this coming Spring on the film, which doesn’t yet have a plot.
H Collective is producing alongside Gunn’s Troll Court Entertainment. Exec producers are Brian and Mark Gunn, Dan Clifton and H Collective’s Nic Crawley.
