We’ve teamed up with Australian deathcore band Boris the Blade to bring you the exclusive music video premiere for their track “Warpath”, the title track of their upcoming album that drops on January 27th via Siege Music. The album will be the follow up to 2014’s The Human Hive.
The band tells Bloody-Disgusting, “Warpath sets the tone for the album. It explores concepts of self destruction and abuse in all its forms, from physical to substance. The video depicts a man struggling with his destructive inner self, eventually being overcome by his demons.”
Since we all know that some Thanksgiving dinners devolve into arguments and bickering, this is the perfect track to have at the ready when you need to step away and just let out some of that pent up frustration and steam. It’s brutal, it’s angry, and it’s damn sure able to make you feel like a badass.
Director Ben Wrigley of 3rd Eye Production explains:
Creating the Warpath music video was a great creative experience. Being able to do a stripped back performance section, whilst working in FX in post production on each member, helped create a contrast that to the dark environment which the story is set in. Taking ideas provided by the band and seeing those brought to life along with the music was extremely satisfying to work, especially during the edit.
