Exclusive Audio Interview: Silent Hill Downpour Composer Dan Licht
Bloody-Disgusting has scored an exclusive interview with Dan Licht, composer of the upcoming video game, Silent Hill Downpour. Dan Licht should be well known to you readers as he has composed a load of horror movies, including Children of the Corn II and III, Hellraiser: Bloodline, Thinner, Amityville 1992: It’s About Time, Soul Survivors, and, probably what most of you know him best for, the hit TV show Dexter. However, this interview focuses solely on Silent Hill and the music he is creating for the game. Check out the exclusive interview, as well as a track from the game and some pictures, after the jump.
Dan’s appointment as composer marks the first time in the Silent Hill franchise that Akira Yamaoka has not been behind the music. Even though I’m a huge fan of Akira’s work, I am really excited for what Dan can bring to the game and I’m eager to hear his music.
