What is it with metal bands trying to come up with name artwork that is IMPOSSIBLE TO DECIPHER? Seriously though! I go to the metal section at my local record store and I can’t read half (if not more) of the damn titles because apparently the band wants to be artists/gruesome and write their name in the most illegible way possible. That seems like a terrible sales/marketing technique. I call shenanigans.
Turns out I’m not alone. Waterloo Records in Austin, TX quizzed their employees to see how they fare in trying to read some of the most confusing metal name logos out there. It starts with Slayer and goes quickly downhill. Watch the video after the jump and let me know how you did in the comments!
