It’s been awhile since we’ve had the chance to take pictures of dead people but that might soon change. In the last issue of Famitsu Fatal Frame series producer Keisuke Kikuchi teased an impending reveal of a game he and his team are currently working on. While he couldn’t discuss details, his team is hard at work on a title that will be announced soon. The series hasn’t made its way overseas since the third game, which was released back in 2005, so the series is due to make a comeback (and preferably for consoles other than the Wii).
We shouldn’t forget the Fatal Frame title Nintendo unveiled in Japan last year that looked like it could be a reboot of arguably the best game in the series, Fatal Frame II. We haven’t heard anything regarding that mysterious title since its reveal so there’s a very good chance that could be the announcement. This brings up an interesting question: if we can only get one Fatal Frame would you rather it be Fatal Frame IV, the possible Fatal Frame II remake or a new sequel?
