Gorgon Video Label Relaunch, New ‘Faces of Death’ Website!

Published

on

Called “the ultimate taboo tape” by Entertainment weekly, Faces of Death is the most controversial, critically reviled and fastest selling documentary in home video history. Parents tried to stop it. Video stores had to hide it. Yet across the nation, millions found ways to secretly watch it…if they dared. Renowned pathologist Dr. Frances B. Gröss is your guide to the most bizarre and grisly death scenes ever recorded, from executions, assassinations and mass murder to suicide, disease and disasters. Three decades later, is it hardcore gross-out, elaborate hoax or still the ultimate forbidden movie? One thing is certain – you will never forget the original Faces of Death!
Tomorrow – October 7th 2008 – marks the re-launch of the Gorgon Video label and the release of Faces of Death on DVD and Blu-Ray. Boasting a new HD transfer from extremely rare vault materials, this is Faces of Death like it has never been seen before. This release includes never-before-seen features that will lift the veil on the most discussed and debated documentary in history and is presented in 5.1 Audio/2.0 Stereo. Bonus features include a feature-length documentary with director Conan Le Cilaire, who has never publicly discussed Faces of Death, “Choice Cuts with editor Glenn Gurner” featurette, “The Death Makers with Special Make-Up FX Creators Allan A. Apone and Douglas J. White” featurette, and Faces of Death trailers, outtakes, and deleted scenes.

Check out the brand new website at www.FacesofDeath.com now! Website features include a “share your story” section where you can share your story of your first experiences with the most notorious shockumentary of our time, in addition to original publicity archives, bonus footage, and so much more.
