‘Gods and Monsters’ Director Tackling ‘Breaking Dawn’?

Bill Condon (Gods and Monsters) has emerged as the number one choice to direct the final two installments of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, reports Deadline. Summit Entertainment hasn’t signed him, but they’re told that after several strong meetings, they are negotiating. In the final novel, pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to Jacob Black, Bella Swan has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point. Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. The book is being split into two films.
