‘Men in Black 3’ Ready to Roll in 3-D With Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones

It looks as if Columbia Pictures is officially ready for more mind-numbing comedy as Showbiz 411 i reporting that Barry Sonnenfeld (who directed the first two films) is signed on to helm Men in Black 3D, with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones locked to return. The studio is fast-tracking the sequel now that Spider-Man fell into the abyss and are in desperate need of a blockbuster for next Memorial Day May 2011. No other details have been revealed, but I’m interested in seeing who lands the “Joe Pesci Lethal Weapon 3-type” role. You know, the annoying third wheel?
