Alan Wake Has Passed The 2 Million Sold Milestone

Not including American Nightmare, which released last month for XBLA (look for our review shortly), the original game has officially reached the 2 million sold milestone. In an interview with CVG, Remedy’s head of franchise development Oskari Häkkinen said “After a slow start it’s turning into something really positive. It’s definitely had legs. I think narrative experiences just have a tendency for that.”

Alan Wake came to the PC just last month and managed to recoup its development costs in the first 48 hours. Match this with the series’ overall success and this is fantastic news for any fans looking for more Alan Wake in the near future. I think it’s obvious that Mr. Wake has a very bright future… Sorry.
