Shout Factory Unveils ‘Slumber Party Massacre’ DVD Collection!

Published

on

As part of their Roger Corman’s Cult Classics collection, all three Slumber Party Massacre films will be arriving on DVD October 5 from Shout Factory! The ultimate driller-killer-thrillers are back!! In the terrifying original Slumber Party Massacre, a high school girl’s basketball team is stalked by an escaped mental patient with a portable drill. In Part 2, the killer returns this time as a physical manifestation of a young girl’s nightmares, slaying more teens in the guise of an evil rocker with a deadly guitar. And in Part 3, a new group of teenagers decide to have a slumber party when yet another unknown killer with a power drill begins attacking them.
When Trish (Michele Michaels) decides to invite her high school girl’s basketball teammates over for a slumber party, she had no idea the night was going to end with an escaped mental patient will ruin the party with his portable drill!

The only sane survivor of the first incident, Courtney, dreams of the driller killer returning in the first sequel. She can’t help shake the feeling that she and her friends will be viciously tormented by the killer. Her nightmare becomes reality when the killer returns, reincarnated as an evil rocker with a deadly guitar.

After a relaxing day at the beach, a group of teens decide to have a slumber party. Their boyfriends predictably show up to scare them, but there is something much scary lurking in the shadows as the group start getting attacked by an unknown killer in the second, and last, sequel.

The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.
