Sam Raimi’s classic Evil Dead 2 has been rotoscoped and now deserves to be on my flipping iPad, thanks to Pretend For Real. It’s unclear what the intention for the trailer “Evil Dead 2: Dead By D(r)awn” is, but hopefully they’ll give us a feature length “animated version” of Evil Dead 2 to drool over. Watch it above.
Geekology has caught wind of the incredible Map of the Dead, a Google Maps based program that highlights useful information in the event of a zombie apocalypse. You know, stuff like highly populated “danger zones” to avoid, as well as worthwhile stores to loot like gun shops, gas stations, and liquor stores. You can prepare for the undead apocalypse by clicking here.
Lastly in our brief bout with “it came from the internet” coolness is Jonathan Barkan’s bizarre discovery, a movie mash-up edited to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing,” only it’s sung by quotes from all of your favorite genre films. It’s incredibly stupid, yet oddly and undeniably addictive. Watch it below!
