Darren Lynn Bousman is off in Spain currently in pre-production on his religious horror 11-11-11, which begins lensing next month for release next November (on the 11th, of course). The director of Saw II-IV and Mother’s Day took to his official blog today to talk about the flick – the first he deems “scary”: “Finally I get to cross over into a subgenre of horror I love… Scary, and atmospheric horror… Still to this day movies like Rosemary’s Baby, The Tenant, Exorcist, The Omen terrify me. They weren’t violent or gory – they were just… Scary…” Click the link for the full blog, or the title for the film’s synopsis we broke last week. Watch for casting soon.
